STROUD teenager Tristan Blick is through to the semi-finals of national TV cookery competition Food Glorious Food.

The 19-year-old, pictured, is part of the Star Bistro team at the National Star College who won their regional heat on the new ITV series.

The winner will collect £20,000 and have their dish produced and sold by Marks & Spencer. The show is hosted by Loyd Grossman and Carol Vorderman.

The Star Bistro team's Star Pimm's summer jelly won the favour of the judges who include Anne Harrison, Tom Parker Bowles and Stacie Stewart. Tristan and his pals will now prepare for the semi-finals in April.
