Truth of 'Richard III' skeleton to be revealed
DNA test results were today due to reveal whether remains found under a car park in Leicester are those of Richard III.
The University of Leicester excavated the site of a city church where it was thought the king was buried.
They found a skeleton with a badly curved spine and head injuries consistent with descriptions of the king's death in 1485.
Richard III was a former Duke of Gloucester and some people have argued that his remains should be interred at Gloucester Cathedral, where Edward II is also buried.
