Underground Festival about to get underway in Gloucester for third year
Following previous success, Gloucester Guildhall is excited to announce that Underground Festival, Gloucester's FREE festival for the best emerging talent will return this weekend. (28th & 29th September 2013)
Now in its third year the Underground festival is a platform for emerging and unsigned bands to showcase their talents and for those who haven't been to the Guildhall for a while to see what's going on.
Last year's festival has seen headline act Bastille go from strength to strength and this year's line up is jam packed including acts such as: Lewis Watson, VV Brown, Mallory Knox and local band Canary Swing amongst others playing over three stages.

Councillor Jennie Dallimore, Cabinet Member for Communities and Deputy Leader, Gloucester City Council said: "The Underground Festival is really carving itself out on the festival scene.
"Many acts are keen to get in on the event as they've seen the success bands that have been at previous events have gone on to achieve.
"Free events like this enable people to come together, some will be seasoned festival goers, others may have been out of the music scene for a while but all will be welcomed as well as giving unsigned bands a platform to showcase their talents.
"They also help us to appreciate what a fantastic venue we have in the heart of our city with the Guildhall."
The festival is completely free and begins at 1pm. Wristbands are limited and will be given out on Saturday from 1pm on a first come first served basis and for the Sunday at 1pm.
