University students celebrate graduation at Gloucester Cathedral
A SEA of mortar boards filled Gloucester Cathedral as years of study reached an end.
Hundreds of smiling students from the University of Gloucestershire were there for their graduation ceremonies.

They have all been studying at the Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester.
Dressed in the traditional gown and headwear, they each had their moment in the spotlight in front of family and friends.

On Thursday, ceremonies were held for students from the School of Leisure.
Chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire Baroness Rennie Fritchie DBE thanked the students for the contribution they have made to the university and added: "This is a world which needs fine minds, big hearts, imagination and commitment. I am sure you will be able to play your part and make a positive difference."
On Friday it was the turn of more students from the School of Leisure and those from the School of Sport and Exercise.
The Right Reverend Michael Perham, Bishop of Gloucester presented the candidates for their awards.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Stephen Marston said: "It is both an end and a beginning. Above all, it is a time to celebrate what our students have achieved."
