Van driver in hospital after three vehicle crash
A three vehicle collision in the Cotswolds has left has left a van driver in hospital with serious injuries.
The 35-year-old man, from Poole in Dorset, was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, after his Renault Kangoo was involved in a crash with two lorries on the A429, near Stow-on-the-Wold on Tuesday afternoon.
He had to be cut out of his vehicle by fire fighters. His injuries have been described by police as serious rather than life threatening and he is said to be facing up to a month in hospital.
The road was closed for several hours after the collision took place, at around 4.30pm, reopening at around midnight.
