Vandals target cars in Stroud

Police are appealing for information after four cars were vandalised overnight in Langtoft Road and Paganhill Lane in Stroud at the beginning of this week.

The vehicles were vandalised between late night on Monday (October 8) and the early hours of Tuesday (October 9).

In Langtoft Road the wing mirrors were smashed on a green Peugeot 206 and a green Land Rover Discovery while a fishing kit was stolen from a red Ford Ka after the back window was smashed.

In Paganhill Lane a small piece of cement was thrown through the back window of a yellow Volkswagen Passat.

A stolen pink women's mountain bike was found abandoned on the same road later in the morning and it is believed it may have been used by the offender.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in either area or has any information should call 101, quoting incident 53 (Langtoft Road) or 72 (Paganhill Lane) of October 9.

Alternatively information can also be given anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. In some cases Crimestoppers offer rewards of up to £1000 where information leads to a conviction.
