Mehew pleased with crucial win for Tigers
MANAGER Dave Mehew was a happy man after seeing Gloucester City claim a vital 1-0 victory over relegation rivals Vauxhall Motors.
City's win, secured by Mike Symons goal, ended a run of three consecutive defeats.

Mike Symons celebrates the goal that defeated Vauxhall Motors
Although the game, played on a hard and bobbly Corinium Stadium pitch would not have won any awards for artistic merit, three points were all that Mehew was after.
"It was hard to get the ball down on such a bobbly pitch but the main thing was the result, so happy days," he said.
"It was the same for both of the sides, but it was very difficult to get the ball under control.
"The longer you go without a win, the pressure does go on.
"The players can deal with pressure, they showed that during the run-in last year, but that was big as Vauxhall have some tough fixtures coming up."
City have little time to nurse any aches and pains before heading north to Droylsden tonight for a rearranged fixture with the Manchester club.
The Bloods are in the play-off positions in Blue Square North, but Mehew said his team were more than capable of causing an upset.
"Droylsden were beaten by Eastwood on Saturday so they will have had a few words from their manager, but we go there with confidence," he said.
"The teams down at the bottom will expect to see us defeated, but wouldn't it be great to go there and surprise them by getting a result?
"There has been no panic here. We've lost to Fleetwood who are top, Alfreton who are third and Stalybridge who are flying."
Winger Ryan O'Hara could come in for a start after impressing as a second-half substitute on Saturday.
