Vote for museum to win £2k for spectacular show
GLOUCESTER'S City and Folk museums could be in line for a £2,000 windfall – but they need your help.
The two attractions, in Brunswick Road and Westgate Street respectively, are in the final of the Museums at Night Connect10 competition.
The winner will get to host an exhibition by a top artist and get £2,000 to make the event as spectacular as possible.
The Folk Museum has bid to win Richard Wentworth, Damien Hurst's tutor and British sculptor, while the City Museum would like to show off work by Julia Vogl.

The city council, which runs both museums, is urging people to vote. Councillor Paul James, leader and cabinet member for regeneration said: "This is a great opportunity for the city to be visited by highly acclaimed artists."
There are a few days left to help out both venues, as voting closes on March 5. Visit www.gloucestermuseums.co.uk to find out more and register your support for their bids.
