Walkers enjoy the buzz of nature reserve
GREEN minded walkers made a beeline for a nature trek in Cheltenham at the weekend.
Around 80 visitors joined Cheltenham Friends of the Earth and the Friends of Pilley Bridge Nature Reserve for the Bee Walk 'n' Talk.
Expert guides from the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and the Bee Guardian Foundation were on hand to lead the walks through the nature reserve and gave visitors an insight into the lives of bees and the other insects living there.
Sue King, from Friends of Pilley Bridge Nature Reserve, said: "We are really excited to have some positive action happening for bees. The way the nature reserve and other green spaces in the town are planned and managed can make a great deal of difference to bees.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).

"Everyone in Cheltenham can do their bit for bees. Even a small number of wildflowers or herbs in a window-box can provide food for bees and help them thrive."
