War medals and jewellery worth thousands of pounds was taken in a raid on a home near Berkeley.

 

The incident happened between 5.45pm and 10.30pm on Friday, October 5 in Stone.

Offenders forced a rear window at the home and stolen some war medals as well thousands of pounds worth of jewellery, a great deal of which had huge sentimental value.

Police are asking people to be on the look out for the items which includes six bronze and silver war medals from 1939, a gold Rotary bracelet watch, gold coloured pocket watch, gold men's wedding band and gold men's sovereign ring.

 

If you saw or heard anything that could help the investigation you should call police on 101 quoting incident 517 of October 5.
