Warning after six Gloucester break-ins in one night
Police in Gloucester are urging homeowners to review their garage security after six break-ins in the space of a night.
Ping golf clubs, a lawnmower and five bottles of champagne were taken from a garage in Clover Piece in Abbeymead while a mountain bike was taken from an address in Blake Hill Way, keys from a garage in Silver Close in Tuffley and two bikes from a garage in Temple Close in Barnwood. There were also break-ins in The Oval and St Michael's Square.

All the burglaries happened overnight between late on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday.
Unlocked doors gave the burglars an easy opportunity in three of the cases and officers are now stressing the need for residents to make sure that their property is locked if they want to guard against becoming a victim.
