Watch Heston Blumenthal's Gloucester Park world record ice cream bid on Ch4 TV show tonight
You may recall that back in July, Gloucester Park was the scene of a new world record set by madcap celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal.
His bid to create the world's largest ice cream, complete with chocolate Flake and sprinkles, smashed the previous record by 1.5 metres.
A ton of vanilla ice cream was craned into a cone made from Coca-Cola-flavoured waffles, then excited children were plucked from the watching crowd to fire sprinkles and strawberry sauce at the giant 99 from laser-guided canons.
Barnwood-based ice cream manufacturers, Wall's, and Colin Vear of Winstones Cotswold Ice Cream from Rodborough, Stroud, were drafted in to help with the mammoth task.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
Bring this voucher to the restaurant complete with your name and email address on it.
