And excitingly, they're coming to a venue near you with a performance at The Roses in Tewkesbury from 7.30pm next Tuesday.
Steeleye Span has provided a home for a long list of fine musicians – Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Tim Harries and Bob Johnson to name but a few.

In 2011 the band added two new members, guitarist Julian Littman and multi-instrumentalist Peter Zorn.
Despite their changing line-up over the years some faces have remained constant.
Maddy Prior has been the voice of the band for all but five of their 42 years together.
Having established themselves as a six-piece over the course of the last two years, the band have the luxury of choosing from 20 albums' worth of material.
So expect familiar classics next to gems both old and new.
