Westonbirt looking blooming lovely in Autumn colour
FOR some the rain may be a depressing sight, but there is one part of Gloucestershire that shines as the autumn weather sets in.
Westonbirt is looking glorious as oranges and reds start to take over the trees, leaving them glowing.
The leaves have just started to turn creating a spectacle for visitors and staff to admire.
From the maple trees to the sweet chestnut – the trees are starting to look blooming fantastic. And it is only expected to get brighter and more beautiful over the next few weeks.
Simon Toomer, director, said: "It's still early days and I'd expect it to be another week before we see the main wave of colour arrive. Having said that, there are lots of early colouring species standing out from the green crowd and an array of fruits and fungi to look out for."
