White powder seized by police in Tewkesbury raid

POLICE in Tewkesbury seized suspected mephedrone in an early morning raid today. 

Officers arrested a man after they executed a warrant at a home in Clarence Road, Priors Park, shortly before 8am. 

They found a quantity of white powder, believed to be mephedrone, and an Apple Macbook Pro laptop, thought to have been stolen in a burglary at a home in Cheltenham in June 2011.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and handling stolen goods.
