A COLOURFUL jungle sprung up in a library in Bishop's Cleeve.

Children going to a creative workshop at Bishop's Cleeve library were given stencils of exotic animals, from butterflies to parrots, and asked to colour them in.

The bright creations were placed on the library walls on vines which stretched and curled around the children's area. The event, which was part of a week-long jungle theme, is part of Gloucestershire County Council's family learning events. These are held during every holiday to encourage children to come in and use the facility and see what else it can offer them. In addition to books, children are able to borrow DVDs, and music.
