Wild west fun at fair
CHILDREN pretended to be their favourite characters from books or films as they joined in the Nympsfield Village Fayre and Produce Show.
Winner of the youngsters' fancy dress was Freya Noone as Enid Blyton's saucepan man.
A procession headed by Nailsworth Silver Band led everyone to the playing field for the fun that included have a go archery and clay pigeon shooting.
"It was brilliant ... excellent for the village to rally round and get together," said organiser Janet Acton. Around £3,500 was raised for the new pavilion fund.
