The former Winchcombe Hospital has been put up for sale.

The Victorian building, in Cheltenham Road, Winchcombe, has been put on the market for £1.2 million.

The site, owned by NHS Gloucestershire, had been used to store NHS equipment since it closed four years ago.

Town council chairman Ron Harrison called for the building to be brought back into use to benefit the community. It has also been suggested that it could be turned into a hotel.
