One of Cheltenham's hospitals have been sold for nearly double its starting price. 

Winchcombe Hospital, in Cheltenham Road, Winchcombe has been left derelict for more than four years, since it first closed in 2008.

It went on sale in October last year, for £1.2 million. 

The empty Victorian building which has been used to store NHS equipment, has been sold for about £2.25 milllion.
