Wine makers boost Gloucestershire cancer patients' mental health fund
AMATEUR winemakers have come up with £1,000 towards mental health for cancer patients.
Gloucester City Winetasting Circle visited the Edward Jenner Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Thursday to officially hand over the money they raised with a Christmas carol concert.
LINC, the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund, has set a fundraising target of £500,000 to pay for clinical psychologists at the unit and at Cheltenham General Hospital. The circle has raised £15,000 over several years for LINC, and this is the largest single sum it has donated.
