Witnesses to M5 crash sought by police

Witnesses to a road accident which took place near Junction 12 of the M5 in Gloucestershire are being asked to come forward.

The collision, which involved a silver Mercedes and a black Honda motorcycle, happened shortly after 7.45am on Wednesday at the roundabout at the top of the junction's southbound exit.

The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man from Gloucester, suffered injuries in the collision and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

 

The car driver, a 43-year-old woman from Gloucester, was uninjured in the collision.

 

Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 46 of October 31.
