Woman, 19, in critical condition after crash with taxi
A TEENAGER from Gloucester is in a critical condition after a collision in Cheltenham in the early hours of this morning.
The 19-year-old female pedestrian was in collision with a Skoda Superb private hire taxi outside the Moon Under Water pub in Bath Road at around 12.40am.
She suffered serious injuries and police resuscitated her at the scene before she was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
She has since been transferred to a specialist neurological ward at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, where she remains in a critical condition.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire said at 2pm today that she was in a critical condition and was 'still fighting'.
Any witnesses to the collision who haven't yet spoken to officers are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 21 of September 15.
