Woman, 22, victim of sex assault in Cheltenham street

AN image has been released of a man wanted by police in connection with an attempted sexual assault in Cheltenham.

A 22-year-old woman claims the man grabbed her and tried to put his hand up her skirt while she was walking along Winchcombe Street near the town centre.

The incident is alleged to have taken place at around 2.45am on March 3.

The man was described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall with short dark hair and thick framed glasses.
