The 20-year-old's body was found on Saturday morning by a dog walker.

"Fun-loving and a really good worker and nothing was too much trouble for her.

"We are all devastated and knocked for six by what has happened."

On Monday Newent Town Council held a minutes silence ahead of its meeting as a show of respect for everyone affected by the tragedy.

Police are not treating Bethan's death as suspicious and an inquest is due to be opened within the next few days.
