Woman dies after car crash in Cirencester
A WOMAN died after a crash in Cirencester today.
Paramedics were called to the A429 junction with Stroud Road at 11am on Boxing Day.
Working with Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service they managed to free a woman, said to be in her 40s, who was trapped in her car.
They airlifted her to Frenchay Hospital for treatment, but she had a cardiac arrest and medics were unable to save her.

A spokesman for the Great Western Ambulance Service confirmed she had died, but were unable to say if it had happened on the way, or after she had arrived at the hospital.
An elderly woman, also involved in the crash, was taken to Cirencester Hospital with minor injuries.
Another man was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed for almost four hours.

“I think not useless wonder, these reporters are supposed to be professionals, a bit of proof reading wouldn't go amiss, I found it pretty shocking. As for family not reading this, well in past experience of reports on this site of similar stories, family do indeed read, and even comment on this facility. It must be horrific enough to lose someone, and then pretty hurtful to see that the newspaper reporting the story cannot get the facts right, totally insensitive and inexcusable.”

For goodness sake TIG, its Boxing Day today, not yesterday. You are reporting the tragic death of a woman here, for the sake of this poor womans family please do them the decency of getting the facts right. They must be distraught enough without reading this sloppy bit of reporting.”
