Woman killed in crash on A429 in Cirencester
A WOMAN died after a crash in Cirencester yesterday.
Paramedics were called to the A429 junction with Stroud Road at 11am on Boxing Day.

Working with Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service they managed to free a woman, believed to be in her 40s, who was trapped in her car.
They airlifted her to Frenchay Hospital for treatment, but medics were unable to save her.

A spokesman for the Great Western Ambulance Service confirmed she had died, but were unable to say if it had happened on the way, or after she had arrived at the hospital.
An elderly woman, also involved in the crash, was taken to Cirencester Hospital with minor injuries.
Another man was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed for almost four hours.
