Woman's mobile grabbed by man
THIS is an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a mobile phone street robbery.
Police want to speak to this man, who approached a woman between Oxford Terrace and London Road at around 2.45pm on Sunday. As the woman was texting, he tried to grab her phone. After a short struggle, a passing motorist pulled up and wrestled the phone back off the man, who then ran off. The driver came forward after a police appeal to help with a description of the man, described as white, around 20-25 years old, 5ft 7ins tall, with short brown hair and wearing a dark hooded top and dark jeans. To help, call police on 101, quoting incident 275 of October 21.

“Gloucestershire Police are looking for the man who stole their E-Fit machine this morning. He is described as having a totally blank expression and no discerning features. A police spokesperson said that the man is unarmed and unfaced and added that anyone who sees him should phone their doctor and ask for immediate help.”
