Wood carver shows off his skills at country park

VISITORS to Robinswood Hill Country Park at the weekend saw carver, Andy O'Neill, at his best.

The artist installed the last of the 14 new wooden sculptures at the park on Saturday.

The work, made with English oak, aims to highlight the geological and natural history of the hill.

A large bench commemorates the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the others are creatures found, or once found, on Robinswood Hill.
