TALENT and innovation took centre stage at the 15th annual Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo Diamond Jubilee Business Awards.
More than 630 people celebrated the enterprising businesses driving the county's economy at the awards presentation evening at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse last Thursday night.

And the applause rang out for Gloucester-based Avon Metals who won the Diamond Jubilee Business of the Year Award sponsored by Randall&Payne.
Sir David McMurtry, chairman and chief executive of Renishaw, the Wotton-under-Edge- based metrology experts addressed the event.

And Ian Selwood, managing partner of the awards title sponsors Randall&Payne, said he was proud of Gloucestershire and the many businesses – especially Renishaw – who have won Queen's Awards for Enterprise.
