Wrap up warm - a freezing night ahead!
FREEZING overnight conditions have brought an Arctic blast to the county this weekend.
As many woke up to frost this morning, the cold weather was coupled with a day of bright sunshine and cloudless skies - a cold-north wind has kept temperatures down throughout the day.
Temperatures are unlikely to rise above 8C (46F), with the chance of 30mph gusts of wind.
The cold conditions are set to continue with overnight figures dropping to around 2C (35F) but it will stay dry tonight.

More cloud is forecast to move in tomorrow with the odd chance of an isolated shower, but most places should remain dry and escape and real threat of prolonged showers.
It will be slightly warmer overnight tomorrow with temperatures likely to rise to around 7C (44F), but cooler in rural spots and a chance of a light shower.
As the wind changes direction to pick up from the south west on Monday, with it comes a return to slightly warmer weather.
Although thick cloud is expected to blanket much of Gloucestershire, there is little chance of rain at the start of the new working week. Temperatures will sit at 11C (52F) for much of the day.
The settled weather will stay in place for Tuesday but there is more of a chance of rain moving in overnight and into Wednesday morning.
