Young musicians eyeing up competition final
Young musicians from Gloucester and Stroud will be competing for a winning title at an annual music competition.
The tenth final of the Southern Cotswold Rotary Young Musician of the Year will take place on February 17 at Sibley Hall of Wycliffe College near Stonehouse.
The event begins at 5.30pm and tickets cost £5.
Among the finalists is cellist Felix Hughes and his double bassist brother Jed, from Hardwicke.

Alto saxophonist Lydya Kenny, from Cam, pianist Man Ho Hui, from Wotton under Edge, and trombonist Ryan Morgan, from Stroud, are all in the running too.
Terry Pascoe, chairman of the organising committee, said: "We have an excellent list of finalists that we are all very much looking forward to hearing play."
