Young trick or treaters told to put safety first
CHILDREN at Tuffley Primary School were given a talk on safety and respect yesterday ahead of tonight's trick and treating fest.
Youngsters will be out in numbers this evening knocking on doors dressed as ghouls, ghosts and other dark creatures while demanding edible rewards. However, at the school assembly PCSOs Tracy Garcia-Cote and Sylvia Lane warned of the dangers of being out at night, advising the kids to keep in groups and be careful not to scare residents too much while respecting their boundaries.
Apart from that, though, they were told to have fun and enjoy the popular tradition.
