"He was well-known and very popular with fellow students and staff alike."

The Year 11 pupil was also a budding star at the Pro Evolution Wrestling group, which operates from the Morelands Trading Estate in the city.

A spokesman for the group said: "During his short life he had that dream, a dream that every single wrestler he came into contact with has – the dream to become the WWE champion.

"Sadly, we will never see this happen. However, everyone involved with Pro Evolution Wrestling and the Pro EVW Training Academy feel that he is the champion of our hearts."

Meanwhile a 'R.I.P Kamil' Facebook tribute group has been set up.

Shannon McCrohan said: "Kamil was loved by everyone. He was the friend, the best friend and the brother for so many people.

"He was known for the way he was – smiling, laughing and joking with everyone, teachers remember him as the cheeky student who always spoke to them when he walked past them."

Chloe Mariiee Llewellyn said: "Kamil, you was my best friend, and you never failed to make me laugh or smile, you was there for me throughout everything."

A wrestling event is being held on Saturday at the Capital Venue, in Waterwells Business Park, from 7pm in memory of Kamil. To buy a ticket call 01452 223 214.
