The third was a carbon copy of the second, with Coulter scoring from a Griffin delivery.
Coulter was denied an impressive first-half hat-trick when his shot fired against the post. However, substitute Cole Hallam was on hand to tap home the rebound.
Archy Greenwood's composure in front of goal made it five for the home side,
In the second half, Greenwood added to his tally for the sixth.
The rout was completed by Cam Thornton, with his long-range effort giving the away goalkeeper no chance
Cheltenham CS Youth U-16s 2 Charlton Rov Reds U-16s 1
CS YOUTH started the brighter of the two sides in the league cup quarter-final.
Charlton Rovers gradually came into the game though, with their striker narrowly putting the ball wide.
It all went downhill for the away side mid-way through the first half though.
After having a goal disallowed, CS striker Alex Hale was put through on goal and scored.
Rovers pushed hard for their equaliser and were rewarded when a poor clearance gifted the ball to the striker who took his chance well.
By the start of the second half Hale looked a shadow of the player who missed two early opportunities.
He made the most of a brilliant through ball from captain Connor Hart to give the home side the lead again.
It was the first victory CS have inflicted on Rovers for two years, as they progressed to the semi-finals.
