Youngsport: Gala Wilton fight back to earn draw with FC Lakeside
FC Lakeside U-18s 2 Gala Wilton U-18s 2
WITH Lakeside not playing for four weeks due to poor weather and non-fixtures, they were glad to face Gala Wilton on a big pitch in good condition.
Lakeside were dealt an early blow when in-form Jack Kelly pulled his hamstring and was forced off.
However, Bradley Barnard's cross was met by Luke Robson whose drilled effort across goal gave Lakeside the lead.

With Lakeside having the majority of the play in the first half, they found Lawrence John in outstanding form, saving well from both Leroy and Luke.
Bradley then turned goalscorer on the 31st minute when a throw-in from Jake Allingham was held up by Bradley before turning and striking a shot in off the post to double Lakeside's lead.
The home side started the second half the brighter and saw Rob Jones pull off a fine save in the 52nd minute and five minutes later thought they had pulled a goal back only to see the flag raised for two players being offside.
However, Josh Pugh's block resulted in a penalty, with Aaron Lowe converting.
Lawrence John again pulled off two great saves from Luke and Louis Hyde.
With the game being quite open, Gala Wilton got themselves on level terms in the 71st minute when after numerous attempts to clear saw Bradley Samson's effort go in off a Lakeside defender. Lakeside came closer to a winner, but Gala Wilton managed to hold on.
