A Chandler free kick reduced the arrears before a great goal beginning with the impressive Kyffin and continuing through Basford and Douce, ended with a thumping finish from Cronin.

Gloucester A: Gardner-Medwin; Berry, Kyffin, Rigby Mitchell, Gilkes, Mace; Basford, Douce, Webb; Drewett, Cronin. Sub: Collins.

Gloucester B 4 Woking B 2

GLOUCESTER's B Squad opened the scoring when King powered home Tyndall's corner, though somewhat against the run of play Govey fashioned an equaliser for the visitors.

Just before the break the hosts finally made their pressure count, Hopkins sidefooting home after Priday's shot had been saved,

A deft chip from Priday extended the lead after the interval and Martin's cross deflected off a Woking defender to make it 4-1.

Henneberg struck a late consolation for the visitors, but it was the city side that claimed the three league points.

Gloucester B: Morrissey; Hatcher, Baron, Lawrence, McKenzie, Tyndall; Williams, King, Martin; Priday, Hopkins. Subs: Stubbs, Harris.

Gloucester Girls 6 Woking Girls 1

GLOUCESTER Girls' Squad racked up their third consecutive win with an excellent performance.

Two fine long range strikes from Cale put the hosts in the ascendancy and after some good saves from the Woking keeper, Beck-Esson converted Cale's cross for Gloucester's third.

Greenwood steered home the city side's fourth, while Beck-Esson and Liggett, who dominated the midfield all morning, completed the scoring for the hosts before Danton netted a late reply for Woking.

Gloucester Girls: Pollard, Jones, Hayward, Hawkins, Wilden, Cale, Beck-Esson, Greenwood, Liggett.

Gloucester U-10s 3 Woking U10s 2

Gloucester's Development Squad edged out their Woking counterparts by the odd goal in five.

Hall gave the visitors an early lead but Gloucester equalised when Gallifent followed up after Blacker's shot had been parried. Balkwill and Wintle combined to play in Bevan to put the hosts ahead and their lead was further extended by Griffiths who finished well. A late strike from Edwards reduced the arrears, but the city boys held.

Gloucester U-10s: Balkwill, Bevan, Blacker, Cronshaw, Gallifent, Griffiths, Halford, Lovell, Martin, Robson, Valder-Samson, Whitfield, Wintle.
