BLUES attacked from the start, with Cole Hallam having a shot which was saved by the Gotherington keeper.

But it was not too long until Fred Griffin intercepted the ball and shot from a distance, giving the keeper no chance and the Blues a 1-0 lead.

The Blues got more chances from Keane Mazowiec, Cole Hallam, Dylan Coulter and Liam Poppleton, but their shots all went wide.

Blues' efforts soon paid off, however, when Griffin made a good pass to Hallam who went past two players to give the Blues a 2-0 lead.

Gotherington had a shot but Matthew Whent saved comfortably.

The Blues' defending by Jakob Krolizak, Finn Rees and Archy Greenwood made it impossible for Gotherington to get into the game.

Again, more shots come from the Blues but they were either shot wide or saved.

Cameron Thornton kept battling in midfield making some great tackles and going on some amazing runs through the midfield with Archy Greenwood in support breaking up any attacks.

Greenwood then made a great pass to Mazowiec who got the score up to 3-0.

Mazowiec then turned provider with a corner ball that he got to Coulter's head making it 4-0.

Gotherington then attacked but good defending from Mazowiec kept them at bay.

Poppleton then went on a run, but his shot was tipped wide for a corner.

Mazowiec took the resulting corner and Greenwood tried an overhead kick, but the keeper saved.

The Blues were then awarded a penalty, after the ball was handled in the area.

Mazowiec's initial shot was saved, but the referee ordered it to be retaken, and he made no mistake for 5-0.

Greenwood then laid the ball to Coulter, who turned and struck the ball from the edge of the area to make it 6-0. Greenwood scored a superb volley for 7-0 and Coulter rounded off the scoring.
