Youngsport: Hucclecote YFC defeat Rodborough Rangers
Hucclecote YFC 3 Rodborough Rangers 1
HUCCLECOTE were strong from the off as Daniel Rackley and Rhys Ashmead combined well down the right with Jacob Cornwell troubling the Rangers defence on the left.
Scott Jackson led the line with some excellent link up play and lay-offs but it was Alexander Herrador-Cosano who opened the scoring for Hucclecote with a smart finish from a Cornwell corner.
Rangers kept pushing and played some good passing football but found Oliver King in imperious form at the back and Jack Bonner as strong as ever in goal.

It remained 1-0 at the break and Hucclecote introduced Josh Niblett from the bench.
It wasn't long before the change paid dividends, a loose ball in the Rangers box and Niblett reacted quickly to toe poke the ball under the keeper to make it 2-0.
Rangers were not giving up and had an excellent spell of possession to work the ball into the box and a well placed finish.
This opened the game up and a brilliant spell followed, chances fell to both sides, Rangers came closest with Bonner doing superbly to scramble back, getting fingertips to the ball on the line to prevent the equaliser.
Hucclecote's victory was sealed when Niblett struck again in the last five minutes to make it 3-1.
