Youngsport: Lakeside White five-stars see off Leckhampton Cheetahs
FC Lakeside Whites 5 Leckhampton Rovers Cheetahs 0
CHEETAHS produced a committed display to give Lakeside Whites, the leaders in the Cheltenham Youth League Under-12 Division, a real run for their money.
Great tackling and some superb passing moves saw Cheetahs match their opponents for much of an even first half, with winger Harry Locke impressing on the right, but Lakeside took their chances well to lead 2-0.
Only a great save from the Lakeside goalkeeper prevented Vittorio Rogazzo for making it 2-1 just before half-time when he produced a fierce shot from a flowing passing move that had started with goalkeeper Ben Lawrence.

A much-changed Cheetahs line-up continued to battle away in the second half, with central defenders Tom Gregory and Liam Stockton outstanding, but Lakeside increased their lead with two great finishes before making it 5-0 from the first of two penalties they were awarded.
The second penalty saw Lawrence thwart his opposite number as the Lakeside goalkeeper fired the spot-kick at the Cheetahs' number one.
