Youngsport: Southside Lions tame the Southside Panthers
Southside Lions U-9s 4 Southside Panthers U-9s 1
SOUTHSIDE Lions continued their unbeaten start to the season with a hard-fought win against their Panthers side. Callum Morrissey continued his rich vein of form with two clinical finishes, one a mazy run from half-way the other a strike from outside the box.
The other goals came from Aidan Jameson's right foot curler and hardworking midfielder George Cuzner who coolly slotted home a left foot finish for the fourth.
The game was end-to-end and Sam Groom and Gus Hitchens were worked really hard at the back by the tricky Panthers pair Taylor Carr and Oli Bridgwood. Charlie Wood scored for Panthers running on to a pass from Jacob Marsh, but Alex Schofield wasn't beaten again as he pulled off several top class saves.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).

Leckhampton Spitfires 0 Southside Lions 4
CALLUM Morrissey's hat-trick and George Cuzner secured Lions' seventh win of the season at Sanford Park, Cheltenham.
Spitfires worked hard but Lions were way too strong with the midfield trio of Cuzner Inward and Jameson controlling the game.
This was the prolific Morrisseys second hat-trick in consecutive weeks for Lions.
