Youngsport: Another narrow victory for Southside U16s
Southside U-16s 5 Bourton Rovers U-16s 4
THE home side went ahead as early as the second minute thanks to a neat finish from Tom Carter.
They doubled their advantage midway through the half after Bourton failed to clear a corner and Southside centre-half Connor Fry fired in from a tight angle.
However, a long ball over the top of the Southside defence led to a simple goal for Rovers to reduce the deficit to 2-1.

Bourton drove forward in the early part of the second half, and changes to the Southside defence at half-time seemed to create a degree of uncertainty.
Bourton took advantage and scored three quick goals to take a 4-2 lead.
Good work by Harry Evans on the left wing created an opportunity for James Oddy to pull a goal back before midfielder George Britton fired in the equaliser.
There were chances for both teams to score, but in the end it was another well-worked move from Southside down the left involving Scott Adams which found substitute George Atkinson unmarked on the penalty spot.
He buried a low shot in the corner to give victory to Southside.
