Do not approach on-the-run ram raider David Benyon
A RAM raider on the run from a seven-year jail term failed to turn up to Gloucester Crown Court to face further charges of a burglary plot.
David Benyon - who police say should not be approached - has been on the run since July 2009 when he was convicted in his absence of a ram raid on a cash machine in Broadway.

The 23-year-old is yet to enter a plea to the charge that he conspired to burgle houses in Spencer Road and Shelley Road in Cheltenham, on June 8, 2011.
There is already a warrant out for the arrest of Benyon from Compton Road, Cheltenham.

On Wednesday, Judge William Hart also issued one for a 16-year-old Brockworth boy who has admitted the conspiracy to burgle the Cheltenham houses. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also admitted two other offences of handling stolen goods.
A third defendant, Josh Brammer, of Sotherby Walk, Cheltenham, admitted the offence of conspiring to burgle the houses in Spencer Road and Shelley Road.
The 18-year-old turned up to the hearing, but Judge Hart said he would not sentence him on his own. He bailed Brammer to a date to be fixed to see if the 16-year-old can be found.
Judge Hart made it a condition of Brammer's bail that he does not associate with his co-defendants.
He warned Brammer: "Custody seems to be highly likely. But the better you behave between now and the day you are sentenced, the better mitigation there will be for you and that will be taken into account as far as the length of sentence is concerned."
Benyon carried out the ram raid in Broadway at 3am on May 5, 2009, when a stolen Land Rover Discovery was used to smash into the Nisa store in Bibsworth Avenue and the cash point machine inside was stolen.
He absconded on July 23, during his Worcester Crown Court trial, and was found guilty on July 25 in his absence.
His conviction included burglary, a theft of a Land Rover, a further attempted theft of a second Land Rover, robbery and the theft of a disc cutter.
A police spokesman refused to comment on the hunt for him, but anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101.
