This follows an investigation into the theft of a Land Rover Discovery in the Ruspidge area and the theft of a catering truck in the Huntley area in July this year.

A 44-year-old man from Chaxhill, a 45-year-old man from Chepstow, a 37-year-old man from Gloucester, a 44-year-old man from Quedgeley and a 44-year-old man from Cinderford were all arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to steal.

Meanwhile a 39-year-old Chepstow woman was also arrested on suspicion of drugs supply after a suspected illegal white powder substance was found during one of the search warrants.

All of those arrested remain in police custody at this time.
