Inspector Jon Smith said "We want to reassure the residents of Stonehouse that although the events of Monday evening were disturbing, it is an isolated incident in our town. As a result of this disturbance, we will be increasing the presence of officers in the area over the coming days.

"I would urge anyone who may have seen something in the Juniper Way area on Monday evening to come forward. Your information could be vital in establishing the full facts".
