Call to attend police meetings
MORE needs to be done to help the police engage the community.
That is the view of Gloucestershire County councillor Ceri Jones(LD, Cleeve), who said there were not enough people attending meetings in Bishop's Cleeve and urged more residents to get involved.
The Partnerships and Communities Together meetings were started to help the police work with the public.
Councillor Jones said: "It started off really well, but it has gone through a few challenges." There were six people at the last meeting at Woodmancote. The next meeting is on October 17 at 6pm at Bishop's Cleeve Primary School.

“Such meetings in the county are often poorly publicised.”

“Why not ask the residents why they're ceasing to attend?”
