Last chance to have Xmas trees collected
CHRISTMAS trees will be picked up from residents for the last time this week by refuse workers at Cheltenham Borough Council.
The authority's binmen will be picking up trees for recycling between now and Friday.
A borough council spokesman said people could leave the trees outside their homes ready for their collection.
He added: "Christmas trees up to 5ft or one-and-a-half metres tall can be left out whole and trees larger than this should be cut down."
