A NEW £25 million school will open its doors to the next generation of pupils on Monday.

All Saints Academy, at Cheltenham, holds an open day from 7pm to 9pm.

The just-launched faith academy, in an iconic modernistic building, is on the former Kingsmead School site.

Head teacher Peter Kingham said: "We offer an outstanding education and outstanding opportunities in an inspiring environment."

As well as a Christian and inclusive education, he added there will be a strong community focus. On the former Kingsmead School site, it is sponsored by the Church of England Diocese of Gloucester and the Roman Catholic Clifton Diocese.
