“Here's a suggestion for the meeting:

    1. Make the paper better value particularly on Monday-Wednesday editions, make it WORTH the new 3x current inflation rate increase of 50p.

    2. Put the next week's TV guide in the new Weekend magazine. I suspect either the licencing cost of being allowed to include TV listings has become prohibited or you think less people will 'need' to buy the paper the following week if the TV listings are only in the daily paper.

    3. Restore the column that mysteriously disappeared which had selected on-line comments from TiG on page three. You might find contributors want to see their comments published.

    4. Make further improvements to the home-buyer section on Thursday's edition to compete with the wonderful web sites like rightmove.com.

    5. Think seriously about making the paper a once or twice week publication. I would say it's currently only good value for 50p on a Friday now.”
