Fatal lorry crash man is named
He was Robert Harris, from Fosse Way, Cirencester.
The 63-year-old suffered serious head injuries in the horrific crash on the A419 at Widhill Farm, near Cricklade, just before 6am on Tuesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 60-year-old lorry driver, from Huddersfield, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail.
Police believe he may have been attempting a U-turn over the central reservation crossing point having missed the turning for Swindon's Groundwell Industrial Estate.
Mr Harris' yellow Saab 93 collided with the back of the hgv.
The road was closed for more than seven hours as the serious collision investigation team examined the area.
Wiltshire police are appealing for witnesses, in particular, the driver of another lorry, which the Saab overtook seconds before the collision, to contact
