Three fire crews battle to put out blaze in Longlevens
Three fire crews battled to put out a fire which spread from a shed to a home in Longland Gardens, Longlevens this afternoon (Sunday).
A five-strong crew from Gloucester North station was initially called out just before 3pm.

The service then received numerous further calls saying the fire had spread to the home and a second crew of five was mobilised to assist with the blaze.
Minutes later, a message was received from the scene requesting a further fire appliance from Gloucester North and a crew of four was sent out.

A neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: "The people who own the house live in France and the couple who were renting it are due to move out this weekend so it is really bad timing. They had only just had the carpets cleaned as well."
It is understood that the fire was started by a fuse box and that damage was caused to the roof and bathroom.
The owner's belongings, which were in boxes, we're retrieved from the loft space safely.
The fire crews left at 5.15pm.
